Hello, my name is Hong and I am a qualified instructor of Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga. I have been practicing Yang style Tai Chi since I was 11 years old and have been teaching it for a number of years both China and the UK. I have achieved advanced qualifications in both Tai Chi and Yoga and lately qualified in Qigong which I have been practicing for many years. Currently I teach classes in North Wales area, includes Prestatyn, Rhyl and Kinmel Bay.
Before becoming a Tai Chi yoga instructor, I worked as a surgical nurse in China. My medical background gives me a unique perspective on the human body and how to care for it. I was passionate about helping my patients recovered from surgery and regained their strength and mobility.
I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga, and I am passionate about helping my students learn the correct form and technique. I have helped many people with physical ailments such as arthritis, back pain, stress and depression to improve their health and wellbeing through Tai Chi, Yoga and Qigong. My knowledge of anatomy and physiology allows me to tailor my classes to meet the needs of each individual student, ensuring that everyone is able to achieve their goals safely and effectively.

Hong is very knowledgeable. A simple phrase she uses is “Practice”, which we must do so our muscles experience and remember how to move.
Hong’s instructions give us the detail allowing us to improve in ourselves.
Thank you Gwyn for your comments!
I am determined to keep learning and becoming the best :))
Hong is an excellent teacher and the classes are very welcoming. Hong breaks down each movement initially and repeats to help you grasp the move and philosophy behind each step. This gives you a better understanding of what you are trying to achieve. Physically I feel stronger after each class. Mentally it helps concentration and relaxation. The YouTube videos allow you to practice between classes. Would highly recommend.
Thank you so much Mandy!🙏
I am happy with Hong teaching the tai chi class in Llandullas.
She gives very precise instructions, with small sets of movements which gives it easy to follow the form.
She is an enthusiastic teacher who is monitoring your progress very well. She picks it up where you left it the last time you attended her lesson.
I would her highly recommend as a teacher.
Thank you Ad very much!
Hong is an excellent teacher. It’s not easy but she repeats her instructions and practicing forms many times. As she emphasises, 1 hour a week is not enough. We need to practice daily. Hong the though does correct mistakes in a calm and quiet manner during the weekly session.
I’ve been doing 8 form tai chi , instructed by Hong, for about 6 months and so am very much a newbie. However, already I can see the benefits in being aware of my posture, breathing, physical and emotional balance and the social interaction of simply being with like minded .
others.
Thank you Hong, for your intruction, patience and understanding.
Thank you Rick for your kind words and encouragement!
I am really appreciated.I will keep it up.
